I was honored to win a scholarship ticket to Marie Forleo’s RHHLive event last month in NYC with a video entry. What an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G conference. The speakers were all outstanding and freely shared their wisdom with us.

Inspiring, motivating and incredible.

Top 3 takeaways from RHHLive!

1. Put passion and joy in whatever you are doing. It’s so easy to get caught up in the ‘but this isn’t the life I want for myself’ game. Stop yourself! Inject joy and gratitude back into whatever you have going on. Find a way! This is crucial for a couple of reasons. First of all, it puts you back in the present moment. Secondly, you need to be feel fantastic for the law of attraction to bring you the fantastic life you desire. Remember how that works? Like energy attracts like energy. So get your joy mojo back!

2. Start with why. This resonated with me in a big way. Simon Sinek’s book, Start With Why is wonderful and explores our connection to brands and how that can impact your own brand/business. People don’t buy from you because of what you do they buy because of WHY you do it. So drill it down. Keep drilling. Keep drilling.

3. Community. I was knocked out by the RHHLive community. Before I ever won anything, the contest itself created a community of women cheering each other on. I have connected with them in a big way! Plus I have a team of supporters and encouragers I turn to and I suggest you find the same. It’s easy when we’re in that super great “I can do anything” head space. But when the doubts creep in or you have a lousy month, it’s amazing what a group of supportive like-minded individuals can do to keep you on track and not let you give up. In fact, I am part of a group of bloggers “The Shine Ladies” and guess how we all met? Yes, we all entered the RHHLive contest.

Leave a shout out in the comments about your ‘why’ or how you are exploring a community around you.
